نظام إدارة المباني (BMS) هو نظام تحكم يعتمد على الكمبيوتر يتم تركيبه في المباني بحيث يضبط ويراقب معدات المبنى الميكانيكية والكهربائية مثل التهوية والإضاءة وأنظمة الطاقة وأنظمة الحريق، وأنظمة الأمن. يتكون نظام إدارة المباني من البرمجيات والأجهزة. يمكن أن يكون البرنامج، الذي يتم ضبطه عادة بطريقة هرمية، مملوكاً، باستخدام بروتوكولات مثل C-bus، Profibus وهكذا. ومع ذلك، أصبح الموردون الجدد مؤخراً ينتجون أنظمة إدارة مباني تتكامل باستخدام بروتوكولات الإنترنت والمعايير المفتوحة مثل DeviceNet، SOAP، XML، BACnet، LonWorks Modbus.
